  •  Scheme / Loan Assistance Standards:

  •  Lending criteria for self-employment schemes

  7.     If the total loan amount is Rs. 50.50 lakhs, the total amount has to be mortgaged in favor of own or any other relative's real estate corporation.
  8.     Each borrower will have to give five post dated checks signed in favor of the corporation.


  •     All self-employment schemes will also have the following qualifications.
  1.     The applicant should be a native of Gujarat and should be of non-reserved category.
  2.     The age of the applicant should be between 18 to 60 years.
  3.     The interest rate on the loan will be 5% per annum, general interest and 3% for women.
    
  • The same amount will be lent every year. Simple interest behaves accordingly.

Rs. Up to the limit of educational loan assistance to non-reserved class 10 lakh, Rs. 1200 Meal Bill Assistance to students studying in various courses, Rs. 15 thousand per annum to the students of standard 12 science stream


Preparation for JEE, GUJCET, NEET for medical engineering admission after standard 12 and Rs. 20 thousand coaching fee assistance as well as loan for medical, engineering, undergraduate, postgraduate courses, std. 12 Rs. 15 lakhs.


 Assistance of Rs. 20,000 as training assistance for competitive examination, 5% interest assistance on loans up to Rs. 10 lakh against back loan of doctor, graduate, lawyer.

  • Benefits will be available under an annual income limit of Rs six lakh.



Apart from this, the candidates of non-reserved category have to pay Rs. Rs. 5% interest subsidy on loans up to. 6 lakh and Rs. 5% interest subsidy on loans up to. 10 lakh taken by the bank for graduates, doctors, lawyers, engineering candidates to start a business.



Candidates who want to avail the benefits of this scheme have to download the detailed information of the schemes and application form from the website of the Corporation www.gueedc.gujarat.gov.in, get a print of it and fill in the complete details.



Candidates from Surat district should send the application along with the required documents along with the application for Non-Reserved Educational and Economic Development Corporation, C-Block, 8th Floor, Bahumali Bhavan, Nanpura.


Income limit: The annual income limit of the family is Rs. 4.00 lakh or less.
